If this resonates with you, you’ve come to the right place.Your roleThe Head of Shipper leads RIO’s Shipper business unit and is accountable for its commercial success, strategic direction, and customer value creation. The role is responsible for building, scaling, and continuously improving RIO’s Shipper SaaS business, ensuring tangible ROI for customers and sustainable business performance within the TRATON Group ecosystem. The Head of Shipper reports to the CEO and leads product, customer success, and consulting.Your tasksStrategic LeadershipDefine and execute the Shipper business strategy in alignment with RIO’s overall vision and TRATON’s strategic priorities.Drive the growth, profitability, and operational excellence of the Shipper business unit.Represent Shipper in internal and external steering bodies, committees, and partner ecosystems.Business and Product LeadershipEnsure that Shipper’s products and services deliver measurable value and return on investment for internal and external customers.Oversee the lifecycle from market insight and product definition to customer delivery and operational performance.Manage portfolio prioritization and ensure business cases and financial goals are met.Build and lead high-performing Product, Customer Success, and Consulting teams, totaling 14 people.Orchestrate and drive outcomes across 5 cross-functional delivery teams.Governance and PerformanceOwn financial results (P&L responsibility) for the Shipper business unit.Define and monitor KPIs on growth, profitability, customer satisfaction, and operational performance.Collaboration and Cross-Functional LeadershipWork closely with the Head of Engineering Shipper and UX to ensure seamless collaboration between business, product, and technology.Foster strong alignment between commercial, operational, and technical domains.Promote data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement across teams.Your skillsYou are an experienced leader with a strong track record in SaaS, logistics, or supply chain technology.You have a proven track record in managing P&L and scaling a business unit or product line.You possess a strong strategic understanding of logistics processes, digital platforms, and ecosystem dynamics from a shipper's perspective.You have excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across business and technology.You combine strong analytical and conceptual skills with an entrepreneurial mindset.You are fluent in both English and German.What do we offer you?Flexible work location: With our RIOFlex model, it is possible to work up to 90% from home or even pursue your job for some time from abroad in the EU.
