CO3 is looking for an experienced Sales Executive to join our mission to build the leading data infrastructure in road freight. Be part of the unavoidable growth of real-time transparency, process automation, and AI optimisation in one of Europe’s largest industries.


WHAT YOU WILL DO


As a Sales Executive, DACH, you’ll be in charge of the growth of CO3 in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland (DACH). The DACH region is the single largest market for road freight in Europe and therefore instrumental for the company’s future success. This role is tasked with delivering a world-class experience to Fortune 1000 customers and contributing directly to the commercial growth of CO3. You will solely be responsible for engaging with C-Suite executives, acquiring the most promising logos, expanding their share-of-wallet, and driving CO3 adoption across customer organizations. In detail: 


  • End-to-end ownership of commercial growth: Acquire new logos, oversee its onboarding with our Customer Solutions & Operations teams, and grow them over their full lifecycle. 
  • Portfolio management: Enhance your portfolio by acquiring new customers and expanding business with existing ones, while maintaining accountability for overall profit and loss (P&L) responsibilities. This includes internal forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.
  • C-level relationships: Forge strong relationships with C-Suite executives and key decision-makers within customer organizations, taking charge of crucial conversations to capitalize on business growth opportunities.
  • Strategic planning: Devise and implement customer growth strategies aimed at achieving revenue goals, ensuring sustainable economics for both parties through effective facilitation of Request for Proposal (RFP) activities and skillful negotiation management.
  • Solution design: Apply critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills to navigate complex negotiations and customer interactions. Utilize data analysis to identify areas of opportunity, influence decision-makers, enhance cost efficiency, and improve customer retention.
  • Product impact: Participate in strategic product road mapping and effectively communicate the vision to our customers, promoting increased adoption of technology and implementing integrations (APIs) to drive operational efficiency.
  • Team work: Collaborate closely with cross-functional internal teams, including Customer Care and Product Management, to spearhead and explore customer projects. In this role, you will indirectly manage a large network of stakeholders dedicated to servicing your portfolio.
  • Project management: Efficiently manage projects that enhance our customers' experience and bring added value to existing partnerships.


This role will report directly into the CEO. 


WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR


This role will be instrumental to CO3’s future success. First and foremost, we are therefore looking for a colleague to complement and fit with our existing team. We have big plans and it is just much more fun to accomplish them with like-minded individuals


From an experiment perspective, an ideal candidate would further possess the following traits:

  1. Data & SaaS sales experience: At least two years in data product or SaaS sales, preferably within the real-time visibility (RTV), GPS tracking, or Internet of Things (IoT) space.
  2. Enterprise exposure: Successful track record and exposure in navigating large-scale organizations through the enterprise sales cycle.
  3. High-quality document drafting: Creativity and crispness in presenting information and the capability to deliver highly-convincing, RoI-focused sales materials to C-Level executives.
  4. Customer obsession: A strong client orientation, acting as an advocate for the client and thinking out-of-the-box to turn painpoints into value generation..
  5. Language proficiency: Given the role’s focus on the DACH region, strong proficiency in German (alongside English for internal communication) is a prerequisite.
  6. Road freight exposure: Prior experience in the road freight industry would be advantageous but is not a must.
