The Role

As the country manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving OpusFlow’s growth in Germany. You will report directly to the CEO and closely work with the Head of Sales, Head of Operations and you will be responsible for building and leading a high-performing sales team, establishing an effective onboarding process, and ensuring exceptional customer experience. Your entrepreneurial mindset, optimistic attitude, and preferably deep understanding of the solar installation or ERP industry will be critical to your success in this role.


Key Responsibilities

*Important to note that within the first months, as part of the onboarding process, you will be responsible for doing sales & onboarding yourself. After the first initial traction, you will build up the team in Germany to scale-up our operations.


1. Sales Team Setup and Management:

  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of Account Executives (AE) and Sales Development Representatives (SDRs).
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve quarterly and annual sales targets in cooperation with our Head of Sales and CEO.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports to the CEO and Head of Sales.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-energy sales culture.


2. Onboarding Team Setup and Management:

  • Establish and oversee an onboarding team to ensure seamless integration of new clients.
  • Enroll comprehensive onboarding processes and training materials tailored to client needs.
  • Monitor onboarding and customer happiness progress and gather feedback to continuously improve the process.


3. Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Address client concerns and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Identify opportunities for increasing adoption within our all in one solution.


4. Strategic Leadership:

  • Collaborate with the Head of Sales and CMO to develop and execute business strategies.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on market trends and competitive analysis.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance brand visibility and market penetration.


5. Market research

  • Gather, analyze, and report on intelligence about competitors and industry trends.
  • Identify opportunities for innovative product developments and enhancements for OpusFlow.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Operations to integrate market insights and customer feedback into the product roadmap.
  • Stay updated on technological advancements in the solar installation and B2B SaaS sectors to ensure our offerings remain cutting-edge and competitive.


6. Operational Excellence:

  • Ensure efficient and effective management of resources, budgets, and timelines.
  • Implement best practices in sales and customer management processes.
  • Continuously seek opportunities for operational improvements and innovation.


Qualifications

  • Sales and Account Management: Proven track record in sales and account management, preferably in the solar or renewable energy sector.
  • B2B SaaS Experience: Familiarity with B2B SaaS products and services. Basic understanding of software concepts.
  • ERP Implementation: Experience with ERP solutions is a plus.
  • Preferably experience in solar installation: working with solar panels or understanding of the installation process. 
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams, with a focus on driving performance and achieving goals.
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: Optimistic, proactive, and solutions-oriented approach to challenges.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members.
  • Native German and fluent in English.
  • Living in Germany
