COUNTRY SALES MANAGER Germany / DACH Region SafeStart, a leading global safety training company, is seeking for an experienced and dynamic COUNTRY SALES MANAGER to continue our expansion in Europe and reinforce our sales team in the GERMANY / DACH region. Our award-winning training program elevates safety culture across all industry sectors using proven training models and the latest in digital learning technology. This role is ideal for a motivated individual who thrives in a high-performing environment, driving business growth and developing strong client relationships. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 10 years of B2B sales experience and ideally a background in the safety industry, selling training and consulting services. ABOUT THE ROLE:
  • Reporting to the Managing Director in Europe in the region and collaborating with the consultants who deliver SafeStart services, the Country Sales Manager will work developing and executing the business plan for the region, implementing the sales and marketing strategies.
  • The focus is to prospect leads, sale, establish and maintain client’s relationship.
  • The Manager will support the development of the region business together with a global team.
  • He / she will support the team management, report and communicate progress and performance to the relevant parties.
Key Responsibilities :
  • Leadership and Strategy : Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and drive growth in the Germany / DACH region.
  • Sales Development : Identify and pursue new business opportunities by promoting and selling SafeStart training and consulting services, including digital offerings as YOU Factors.
  • Client Relationship Management : Cultivate and manage relationships with key clients, ensuring exceptional service and long-term business success.
  • Market Expansion : Use market insights and resources to identify opportunities for expanding the brand’s presence in the region.
  • Performance and Reporting : Manage performance targets for the sales team, use CRM tool and to organize, automate and get important data to regularly monitor progress to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
  • Reporting : Maintain accurate records of sales activities and performance metrics, using CRM tools and Microsoft Office applications for reporting and analysis.
Required Experience / Skills :
  • Sales Experience : Minimum of 10 years of B2B sales experience, with a strong background in the safety industry and experience in managing key accounts and selling training and consulting services.
  • Teams Collaboration : Contribute to the development of the sales team, with a focus on achieving results through collaboration.
  • Communication Skills : Excellent communication skills in both German and English, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders, including their own team, at all levels.
  • Customer Focus : Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
  • Proactive and Results-Driven : High level of ownership, accountability, and drive for achieving sales targets and business goals.
  • Technical Proficiency : Familiarity with CRM tools and Microsoft Office applications, with a keen interest in digital learning solutions.
  • Flexibility : Availability to travel across the DACH region and potentially other European countries as required.
