Solutions Manager - Mobility
REMOTE [Aachen - Munich - Stuttgart - Berlin]
Next Ventures are partnered with a leading software consulting firm that specialises in building and delivering innovative software solutions into the mobility market. This is a business with a strong brand name within the Automotive segment, that is passionate to leverage it's decades of success and drive innovation within emerging markets.
We are seeking a dynamic Solutions Manager, with a history of successfully delivering and developing a portfolio of projects into connectivity oriented topics (software and hardware). They will sit at the heart of the development and sales teams, and will play a pivotal role in driving the success of projects with existing and new business partners. This role requires a blend of strategy, delivery, and technical expertise to help shape the business' positioning and future roadmap of projects.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives, challenges, and requirements within the mobility sector.
- Design comprehensive solutions that leverage our software expertise to address client needs effectively.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing guidance, support, and updates throughout the project lifecycle.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and project managers, to ensure the successful delivery of solutions on time and within budget.
- Conduct regular meetings and presentations to update stakeholders on project progress, milestones, and any potential issues or risks.
- Proactively identify opportunities for upselling additional services or solutions to existing clients based on their evolving needs.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices within the mobility sector to inform solution design and strategy.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering strategic guidance and insights to help them achieve their business objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 8+ Years of working in a solutions-oriented role within a software consulting environment, preferably with a focus on the mobility sector.
- Strong understanding of mobility technologies, including but not limited to mobile applications, IoT, telematics, and connected vehicles.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, understand their business needs, and translate them into actionable solutions.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive mindset and the ability to identify opportunities for business growth and optimization.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment is preferred.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings, presentations, and project kick-off sessions.
- Fluency in German and English (Speaking and Writing)
