Our specialist area "Information and Communication Technology" (SPF 4), including the specialist group "IT Infrastructure" (SPF 41), supports the business areas relating to IT, information security and data protection issues. Strengthen this area as Research assistant for digitization in project funding (f/m/d) Place of employment: Jülich Your tasks: You will work in a team consisting of 37 employees. You will digitize business processes in project funding and administration at Project Management Jülich (PtJ), including the design, introduction and continuous improvement of workflows. In addition, you will develop solution and implementation proposals taking into account the stakeholders and evaluate processes in terms of effectiveness, security, digitization capability and cost-effectiveness. You will manage the electronic funding file and support the change process to digital file management and process handling. You will analyse existing information systems and communication structures and identify the need for change and optimization. In addition, you will advise the management level in planning and decision-making processes and prepare needs and cost-benefit analyses. You will coordinate digitization projects, integrate and adapt software systems to the requirements of project funding and conduct training courses for the continuous improvement of IT-supported processes. Your profile: You have a university degree (Master's or Diploma [Univ.]), preferably in the field of (administrative / business) computer science, physics or mathematics. Ideally, you have already gained sound professional experience in the implementation of IT projects. You have in-depth knowledge of project management and experience with change management processes. In addition, you have knowledge of the legal regulations on data protection in the use of data. You are ideally familiar with administrative and project funding processes at federal and state level. You are also a strong advisor, communicate fluently in German and have a good command of English. You are characterized by a strong, functional understanding, analytical thinking and a reliable and careful way of working.
