We are currently looking for a Business Development Manager to develop our Life Sciences, MedTech and Chemicals business in the German market. As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for the sales activities in the German Life Sciences market.


More concretely, you will be responsible for:

  • Sales and marketing of our consulting offerings around Avertim key services: increase performance, drive innovation and leverage compliance. Your ambition for growth will determine the development of key clients. Leveraging your business development capabilities to drive cross-country fertilization in the interest of the Group.
  • Project acquisition at existing customers and new clients
  • Preparation of offers (technical, commercial) and conduct of negotiations
  • Monitoring of projects at the level of project management or in the steering committee
  • Development of marketing documents and sales presentations
  • Representation of Avertim at conferences and symposia


Your Background

  • A minimum of 5 years’ consulting and business development experience in the Life Sciences, MedTech, and Chemicals industry or 1-3 years of respective experience for junior position
  • A Master’s Degree in either Business, Sciences, Engineering
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Proven track record of successful business development
  • Experiences in Business Process Management, Change Management, Lean Management, or comparable consulting projects. Program or Project Management experience is a plus
  • Excellent client management and relationship building skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • You demonstrate strong business acumen, perseverance, and ambition
  • You show resilience and are willing to go the extra mile
  • You have a passion for technology and business.
