Are you passionate about the pharmaceutical industry and have first experience in business development?


We are currently supporting a leading CDMO specialising in small molecule APIs that is dedicated to delivering high-quality solutions to the pharmaceutical industry. To achieve significant growth in Europe they are growing their European Business Unit. They are currently looking for a Business Development Manager that will join a small dynamic team based in the headquarter in Frankfurt with strategic focus on business development and customer acquisition throughout the German Market.


Your Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Understand Customer Needs: Develop tailored strategies to meet customer needs and harness our CDMO capabilities. To understand customers’ needs, experience in selling APIs or CDMOs is ideal. However, experience selling equipment or services to the relevant customer base can also be relevant.
  • Marketing Strategies: Create and implement effective marketing strategies to promote the company’s capabilities and services.
  • Network and Identify Prospective Clients: Actively network within the pharmaceutical and biotech industries to identify and nurture prospective clients.
  • Manage Projects: Oversee customer projects and ensure seamless execution in collaboration with the company’s project management organisation.
  • Stay Informed: Keep up to date with industry trends and competitive information.
