In your role, you will be responsible for the implementation of customer projects in the respective country area. You will be responsible for pre-sales activities, project management and order processing following receipt of the order. In close cooperation with regional sales, you will ensure the accuracy of sales forecast data and help to achieve the company's targets. You ensure a continuous exchange with different technical and organizational units, create an interface to precisely address customer inquiries and thus make a valuable contribution to the success of our customers.


Tasks

Coordination and management of customer projects in Sales Project Management from order placement to final acceptance:

  • Developing and implementing concepts and strategies to increase customer satisfaction and achieve corporate sales targets together with the respective country division
  • Organization of sales support activities in the respective country area:
  • Supporting marketing activities
  • Supporting the regional sales organization in risk analysis and processing customer enquiries
  • Independent management and coordination of customer projects in sales from order placement through to final acceptance:
  • Technical advice and communication with the customer before, during and after contract conclusion
  • Supporting acquisition in the respective country area by preparing customer-specific offers, taking into account the company's sales targets
  • Contract negotiations in consultation with the sales manager and the Management Board
  • Drafting and reviewing contracts and non-disclosure agreements
  • Monitoring internal and external technical approvals
  • Supporting the Head of Sales and the Management Board in forecasting by creating/tracking sales targets and monitoring project deadlines
  • Responsibility for the accuracy and availability of all information on incoming orders and sales in SAP for the respective country area
  • Timely escalation in the event of a sales deviation due to scheduling projects
  • Preparation and realization of customer visits
  • Direct customer support when traveling to the respective countries


Background

  • Completed studies (diploma or master's degree) in natural sciences or industrial engineering, rounded off with a doctorate in e.g. physics, mechanical engineering or electrical engineering
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in the management of customer-specific projects (sale of capital goods) in the area of sales
  • Knowledge of deposition processes and semiconductor technology is advantageous
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Independence, ability to work under pressure, assertiveness, ability to deal with conflict, initiative and a high level of commitment and flexibility
  • Confident command of written and spoken English and German
  • Experienced use of MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook) and good knowledge of SAP
