Company Summary: An exciting growing company within the FMCG space is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Supply Chain to join their team in Dusseldorf. This is a unique experience to shape the strategic direction and execution of the end-to-end supply chain processes, encompassing planning, inventory management, logistics, and distribution. This leadership role requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of supply chain dynamics, a strategic mindset, and the ability to drive continuous improvement in a complex, fast-paced environment.


The Head of Supply Chain will be responsible for:

  • Strategic Leadership:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to drive end-to-end supply chain optimization.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain, ensuring business continuity.
  • Planning and Inventory Management:
  • Develop and oversee planning processes to meet customer demand while optimizing resource use.
  • Implement inventory management strategies to maintain optimal stock levels and reduce excess inventory.
  • Logistics and Distribution:
  • Manage logistics operations to ensure timely and cost-efficient delivery of products.
  • Oversee distribution network design and optimization to enhance service levels and reduce costs.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the supply chain organization.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
  • Implement industry best practices and emerging technologies to enhance supply chain capabilities.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain team.
  • Promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment, encouraging innovation and professional growth.


The Head of Supply Chain should have the following qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Supply Chain or other relevant experience.
  • Leadership experience
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with excellent ERP/SAP knowledge.
  • Fluent in English and Fluent German
