As our new Staff Engineer for Radar System Application Engineering you are the technical champion for our customers. You will be responsible for technical customer interaction, align customer requirements with Marketing and R&D and drive system development. - Develop and improve Infineon's in-house Radar System solutions according to customer needs
- Manage worldwide customer requests and work with central functions to reach the best results as team
- Work with R&D to define next level of Radar system architectures based on customer requirements
- Document and verify your system components
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering or similar
- At least 3-5 years of experience as System Application Engineer in a Radar sensing environment
- Experience in Radar System Design including system budget calculation
- Understanding about Signal processing framework and MCU HW requirements
- Deep knowledge in CW and FMCW Radar operation
- Understanding of FMCW algorithm pipeline and knowledge in doppler and FMCW Radar operation
- First experience in embedded Firmware programming
- Software skills in C#, Matlab and Python is a plus
- An analytical mindset with experience in debugging
- A team player mentality and willingness to learn
- Good analytical skills as well as good customer communication skills to be able to establish long-lasting relationships
- Fluent English language skills, German is desirable
