Your contribution:
As a Leader in Product Data Management (m/f/d), you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing the organization's vehicle and product data-related processes. This position requires a deep understanding of product data governance, data quality, and data lifecycle management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in implementing effective data management strategies, and the ability to collaborate across departments to ensure data integrity and usability. This role is reporting to the Head of Product Management.

Key responsibilities:
Strategic data management:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive data management strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives to ensure best data quality to customer platforms & systems.
  • Define and manage data ownership, data stewardship, and data quality practices. Collaborate with key stakeholders to define data management policies, procedures, and standards.
Data quality management:
  • Implement and oversee data quality initiatives to identify, assess, and improve the accuracy and reliability of product and application data.
  • Manage data input and communication within product introduction process.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to address data quality issues and implement corrective measures.
Data Integration and Architecture:
  • Collaborate with IT teams to design and implement effective data integration solutions.
  • Drive the development and maintenance of a scalable and flexible data architecture.
Collaboration and Communication:
  • Collaborate with business units to understand data needs and requirements.
  • Communicate data management strategies, policies, and standards to various stakeholders.
  • Work closely with vehicle application data suppliers, providers, and platforms to secure best-in-class services for our customers.
Performance monitoring and reporting:
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for product performance data management and regularly report on the portfolio effectiveness based on commercial results.
  • Monitor trends in data quality and usage, making recommendations for improvements.
Qualifications and skills:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field (eg Data Science, Business Analytics).
  • 3+ years proven experience in a role within product data management, experience in the Automotive Aftermarket is a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of data governance, data quality, and data lifecycle management.
  • Strong understanding of data integration, architecture, and technologies.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments and work with diverse teams.
  • Experience with relevant tools and technologies in the data management space.
  • Expert in Microsoft Excel and PowerBI.
  • Knowledge about Automotive Aftermarket Data Providers like TecAlliance (TecDoc), HaynesPro, ALLDATA, DVSE.
  • Fluency in English and German – both written and spoken.
