Role Overview

Abbott Laboratories GmbH is seeking a Product Support Manager (m/f/d) based in Hannover.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all activities within the Product Support Work Stream to ensure comprehensive support for the product, prioritize tasks, and focus on value-added initiatives.
  • Act as the Operations representative in Brand Teams, ensuring alignment between the Brand Team's strategy and the Product Support Work Stream.
  • Identify and coordinate initiatives aimed at improving product gross margins.
  • Maintain close collaboration with Manufacturing Operations to ensure smooth processes and guide continuous improvement efforts.
  • Provide timely reports to governance bodies and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Assist in budget planning, including internal resources and external costs, while monitoring expenditures.
  • Support the development of detailed project plans to enhance product quality and profitability.
  • Propose an annual Brand Roadmap outlining strategic objectives.
  • Ensure that product knowledge is continuously updated and expanded, including insights on competitors and lifecycle management opportunities.
  • Manage technology transfers related to new product introductions.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in a scientific or technical discipline, preferably in Life Sciences (pharmacy, chemistry, analytical chemistry).
  • Over 7 years of experience in the pharmaceutical sector, with a background in manufacturing, development, or technology transfer projects.
  • Comprehensive understanding of CMC drug development and familiarity with manufacturing environments and constraints.
  • Strong leadership capabilities to manage complex projects involving cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to challenge existing practices to enhance competitiveness and foster innovation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with various stakeholders.
  • Core competencies include empowering teams, accountability, and customer focus.
