AWS Technical Account Manager

Do you want to be a trusted advisor and cloud operations architect for Enterprise Support customers? Join our team as an AWS Technical Account Manager

We are looking for someone who will have a direct impact on helping customers maximize the value of cloud technology. Crafting and executing strategies to drive customers' adoption and use of various AWS services like EC2, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, Lambda, and more will be part of your responsibilities.

Our Technical Account Managers collaborate with top businesses, from startups to large enterprises undergoing significant transformations. You'll provide guidance on architecture, support strategy, project planning, launch execution, and ongoing operational challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build solutions, provide technical guidance, and advocate for customers
  • Ensure operational health of AWS environments while reducing costs
  • Develop trusting relationships with customers, understanding their needs and challenges
  • Drive technical discussions on incidents, trade-offs, and risk management
  • Consult with partners from developers to C-suite executives
  • Collaborate with various teams including Solutions Architects, Business Developers, and Sales Account Managers
  • Proactively identify opportunities for customers to gain more value from AWS
  • Provide detailed service disruption reviews, metrics analysis, and pre-launch planning
  • Assist customers in migrating workloads to the cloud and solving related problems
  • Conduct workshops and sessions to enhance customer capabilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional experience with cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, etc.
  • Programming skills in Java, Python, Perl, Ruby, C#, and/or PHP (a plus)
  • Prior experience as a Software Engineer, Developer, DevOps Engineer, etc.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools like CI/CD, Puppet, Docker, Kubernetes, Chef is advantageous
