In order to support project management, Airbus Operations is looking for a

Working Student within Project Management Support for Smart Factory (d/f/m):

  • Location: _Stade _

Are you ready for an exciting and challenging role in the project management world? In this role, you will work directly with project managers from multiple projects to support them in the day to day activities of one of the biggest projects in the plant.

You will get a peek into the complexity and work flow of mega projects allowing you to gain more insight into the world of digitalization.


Definition working student:


Working students are students who are enrolled at a University or some other institution of higher education, and who are employed in a reasonably long, fixed-term position parallel to their studies.

This position must not be confused with an internship or with the possibility of writing a final thesis.

This employment usually takes place directly on the company's premises.

A working student's main focus remains on their studies, which is why, during term-time, working students are not allowed to work more than 20 hours per week.

Working students therefore usually work near their place of study, so as to conveniently combine studying and employment.

Your location:

You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • You support the Digitalization Project Management team within our manufacturing projects in the industry and gain experience in project management topics.
  • You work on the monitoring, tracking and review of project measures and change requests.
  • You take care of the coordination, organisation and preparation of meetings and workshops. You prepare presentations for and minutes of these meetings.
  • Track and document project risks and opportunities.

Desired skills and qualifications:

  • Enrolled fulltime student in the area of engineering, industrial engineering, electronics & IT engineering or an equivalent field of study.
  • You are interested in the processes and technical aspects of IoT, industrial digitalization & industry 4.0.
  • Good knowledge of google suit (Sheets, docs, slide & drive) would be a plus
  • Very good knowledge of German and good written and spoken English.
  • Communication skills, motivation, ability to work in a team and confident appearance with ability to see the bigger picture.
