Olympus Surgical Technologies Europe ist als Hightech-Spezialist innerhalb des Olympus-Konzerns das Entwicklungs- und Produktionszentrum für starre Endoskopie, bipolare Hochfrequenzchirurgie und Instrumentenwiederaufbereitung. Aufgaben
  • Ensure the qualification and approval of suppliers delivering to multiple global Olympus sites
  • Perform regular global supplier audits and initiate and monitor required measures
  • Decide on the debarring/deactivation of suppliers globally
  • Prepare and execute global/regional and local quality assurance agreements on behalf of Olympus and make sure Olympus commitments are held in all sites
  • Work in a joint team with global/regional procurement and supply chain management for supplier selection, supplier evaluation, supplier development and supplier risk management
  • Participate in category (strategy) boards of the category
  • Lead supplier improvement projects for global Olympus suppliers for electronic/electronic manufacturing services/OEM
  • Act as first escalation level for local Supplier Quality Engineers regarding product-related quality issues
  • Support facility audits by outside agencies (i.e., FDA, ISO/MDSAP)

Profil
  • Academic degree in Life Science, Engineering or Physical Science
  • Long-standing experience in supplier quality management with extensive knowledge in electronics and electronic manufacturing processes
  • Demonstrated comprehensive expertise in the applied interpretation of worldwide regulatory standards and laws applicable to the medical device, e.g., ISO, QSR, GMP, jPAL, cCMP
  • Knowledge of and experience in supplier management of suppliers with global/regional footprint with electronic/electronic manufacturing services/OEM
  • High level of quality tools and methodology skills (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys, FMEA, IQ/OQ/PQ)
  • Very good English language skills
  • Willingness to work in a global work environment within EMEA including international travel up to 30%
