Your responsibilities


We are looking for a Brand Director (M/F/d) to accompany and support the further development of our newly organized Brand Management team in Munich or remotely from Germany and to actively contribute existing experience and knowledge to the new structure.

Promote internal collaboration between different Brand related departments and build consistent and long-term partnerships.

  • Develop new marketing plans and strategies that contribute to the achievement of our business goals across various channels including paid media, PR, social media, internal & external events, etc. and successfully implement them
  • Manage the budget for various projects assigned to your department and keep track of ROI/KPIs to ensure efficient use of resources
  • Be responsible for all brands assigned to your department and take full revenue and budget responsibility for them
  • Conduct customer and market research and analyse the resulting data to evaluate the effectiveness of our campaigns and optimize them as needed & present the resulting insights, solutions and recommended actions to the management board
  • Monitor the latest market developments and industry trends, as well as key competitor activities, and provide insights as well as recommend actions and measures based on these findings
  • Stay in regular contact and close communication with our internal Competence Hubs to ensure flawless execution of campaigns and projects
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with our internal crossfunctional teams, such as sales, product management, technical support etc.
  • Work closely with our internal sales team to develop enablement materials and tools, as well as lead various marketing activities (e.g. trade shows, webinars, user conferences) to achieve optimal results
  • Collaborate with our product management team on new product launches & features, message development & positioning, and new lead generation programs

Profile:

  • At least 10 years of professional experience in brand management, marketing or any other related field
  • Firsthand experience in building a startup/actively codesigning and building a startup would be advantageous
  • Proven track record in developing and managing various brands ideally in the pet food and/or FMCG space
  • Excellent organizational and structural skills paired with strong project management skills.
  • The ability to think creatively about the process and be able to use effective writing skills across the hierarchical levels both internally and externally
  • Fluency in German and English is mandatory, further languages are a plus
