In the area of ​​HMI development, we have our own team that takes care of the build environment (CI/CD) and tries to simplify the work of our many developers, testers and product owners, to keep the many cogs running and to automate more and more. For this, we are looking for your support as a software developer for DevOps (m/f/d) We live our personal team culture and develop new ideas together in the office in Erlangen. We also offer you the opportunity to work partially mobile within Germany.

Exciting tasks await you:

  • You will be responsible for the conception, implementation and further development of continuous integration, deployment and delivery
  • You will help develop our extensive Jenkins pipeline library in Groovy and continuously expand it with new features according to new project requirements
  • You will further develop existing Jenkins and Gradle plugins and help design and implement new plugins
  • You operate and administer the software and system landscapes such as Artifactory, SonarQube, Jenkins, Docker and Kubernetes
  • You actively support our development teams in the implementation and operation of build, test and deployment jobs
  • You evaluate new concepts and technologies for the future software and system landscape in the DevOps environment and develop proof-of-concepts together with our tech leads

What makes you special:

  • You have a degree in computer science, training as an IT specialist (m/f/d) or a comparable technical qualification
  • You are just as confident in object-oriented programming as you are in developing tooling using scripting languages, so you have a deep knowledge of Groovy, Kotlin or Java and are also familiar with Python or Bash (shell)
  • You are familiar with Linux server systems
  • You have already gained experience with build environments in the Java, web and Android environment (Gradle, NPM, GNU Make, Soong) as well as with container infrastructures such as Docker
  • Ideally, you also have experience in continuous integration and deployment with Git (Bitbucket) and Jenkins (administration, pipeline-as-code, plugins) as well as in monitoring (Grafana, Prometheus, ...)
  • You are constantly striving for new technologies, advance your task independently and impress with your analytical and structured way of working
  • You will be able to use your excellent German and good English skills in our international environment
