We are looking for a Claims Relationship Manager, based in Germany (Munich or Hamburg).

Your Team

To support our multinational ambition, we aim to deliver a proactive market leading customer experience and additional leading capabilities. This role will own and promote the regional claims multinational delivery as part of the Allianz Commercial value proposition across lines of businesses for regional key accounts. The role will support sales strategy, actively manage customer relationships, ensure customer feedback loops, support underwriting and multinational functions in specific deal design and implementation, supervise KPI delivery and claims data quality. You will be an SME with an active role in the global multinational community driving evolution of the company's value proposition, market profile, and innovation.

The Impact You Will Have

Reporting directly to the Regional Head of Claims and in matrix to the Global Claims Lead for Multinational, the Claims Relationship Manager will own and promote the claims multinational value proposition across all lines of businesses and throughout the whole client lifecycle for key accounts, in the region. You will enable sales strategy, actively manage customer relationships and partner with Underwriting, Distribution and Multinational functions.

Some of your specific responsibilities could include:

  • Own the definition and execution of the regional multinational claims value proposition, translate the overall growth ambition into tangible action and enable innovation.
  • Engage with multinational practice teams, industry specialists, and regional experts, thereby achieving customer journey excellence targets.
  • Contribute to sales planning and marketing target setting cycles as well as account management activities for large international programs by providing claims insights.
  • Drive reporting on international programs across lines of businesses.
  • Manage service standards and escalations.


What You'll Bring to the Role

  • You have operational experience in leading business activities either in Sales/Distribution, Underwriting, or Claims, with the ability to connect with various colleagues in a challenging environment.
  • You will use your market knowledge, broker and client relationships, and insurance knowledge to determine the best course of action and drive the regional implementation of the Multinational strategy.
  • Bringing with you an excitement for teamwork, you'll enjoy using your stakeholder management skills and ability to bring people together.
  • You'll also understand claims analysis, modelling, benchmarking, and customer analytics.
