BayWa r.e. Power Solutions GmbH offers tailor-made energy solutions for commercial and industrial companies. Our portfolio includes the development and realization of solar installations, storage and charging solutions as well as power supply contracts in the key markets of Germany, Spain and Italy. We also offer a broad service portfolio in several other countries thanks to our experienced team of experts.

Due to our dynamic growth, we are expanding our team and are currently looking for a Contract Manager (d/f/m).What You Will Do
  • You support with all aspects of claim management, e.g. avoidance of conflicts, complaints and lawsuits but also preparation of delay and obstruction notices, change orders, contract amendments etc.
  • You act as a project-related contact person for identifying and evaluating opportunities and risks associated with contracts such as contractual, legal, operational, financial and commercial risks based on pre-defined values
  • You review customer contracts to create a handover-matrix to assist the transitioning of a project from the sales to the implementation phase (e. g. penalties, timelines, insurance requirements etc.)
  • You prepare contracts (framework and for individual projects) based on company standards and templates for suppliers and subcontractors
  • You create templates as a basis for project purchasing in cooperation with Legal
  • You provide feedback during legal/ commercial discussions on contract contents and open contract issues
  • You manage contracts from draft to signature and collect necessary feedback from internal stakeholders
  • You assist with the formalization and harmonization of practices for contract management and administration of contracts
What You Bring
  • You have a degree in business law, law or a comparable course of study with a commercial or technical background, first German state exam is a bonus but not required
  • You have fluent command of the English and German language (written and verbal)
  • You have a sound knowledge of commercial and contract law issues
  • You bring along ideally 3 to 5 years of experience in the construction or energy sector or as a transactional lawyer, with a focus on claim and contract management
  • You have excellent skills in communication, time management and conflict resolution
  • You are an independent, flexible, proactive person, who can prioritize, meet tight deadlines and has a desire for further development
