Our mission is to allow customers to initiate payments from any account, at any bank to their own service in a fast and seamless way. As a result of continued high growth, we are now recruiting for another Sales Manager to drive new business development in DACH. The position is based at our office in Munich or Frankfurt, we offer a flexible hybrid working setup.

You will be positioned as an expert in open banking and the transformation that banks and financial institutions are going through. As Sales Manager you will build our customer portfolio in the DACH region as well as the Netherlands and drive innovation with our partners and ultimately bring financial happiness to our customers’ and their end users. As a crucial member of Tink’s Business Development Team, you will help design and execute the team’s sales and growth strategy. This position is an opportunity for someone who wants to build a strong network and become a trusted advisor to leading European financial institutions.

This role is a fixed-term maternity cover for 12 months. Despite the temporary nature of this position, there's potential for permanent opportunities within the organization in the future. This role is an excellent opportunity for gaining industry experience and expanding professional networks.

What we offer you

  • Build a strong network and become a trusted advisor to leading financial institutions and FinTech companies as well as successfully position Tink as the future of open banking technology
  • Generate sales and create new business opportunities based on an existing pipeline, while managing sales processes and together with central functions reach a final commercial agreement
  • Execute short-term strategy while maintaining a vision for long-term sustained success
  • Lead workshops and meetings with key customer stakeholders to better identify client needs and match them with Tink offering
  • Build brand awareness, plan and lead marketing activities for the region and drive successful marketing projects
  • Represent Tink at conferences and other public speaking events

What we're looking for

  • Sales experience, ideally selling SaaS/financial solutions
  • Understanding of the digital/online payments industry
  • A track record of achieving ambitious sales targets
  • Negotiation skills and experience of driving negotiations to a close, both individually and through colleagues and partners
  • Native/fluent in German and English
