Our client is a leading BioTech company and working together with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, as well as academic institutions.

Job Description

Analysis of technical and complex accounting topics, complex transactions, and contractsMonitoring of accounting and reporting updates and implementation of new standards and regulationsPreparation and update of the group's accounting policiesMonitoring and enforcement of the accounting policy within the groupPreparation of internal training materialsParticipation in the external reporting process and ensuring compliance with the regulator's guidelines

The Successful Applicant

University degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalentSignificant relevant professional working experience in a similar role, ideally with a Global Public Accounting Firm in the Audit or Accounting Advisory practiceExperience of working in an international environment, ideally in Pharma/ BiotechIn depth knowledge of IFRSExperience with PCAOB Audits and SoxBusiness fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills, German or another European language are advantageous
