The Financial manager is responsible for various aspects of the Company’s monthly close, reporting and analysis processes, executing the Company’s concluded advanced/technical accounting positions. He or she is also supporting the Company’s financial statement audit process in accordance with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and HGB. The Financial manager is additionally responsible for support and implementation of initiatives that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Company’s finance function.

**Essential Responsibilities**
- Responsible for compiling the Company’s monthly closing analytics, financial reporting package, and the documentation of results for the period, monthly for USGAAP, annually for HGB
- Responsible for preparing various monthly close journal entries and maintaining related analysis and/or detailed support for account balances
- Supports the Director Finance with preparation and/or review of financial information
- Supports the finance team with implementation of change/systems, as well as other special projects when required, that increase the efficiency and effectiveness to scale the Company’s finance function as it grows
- Supports the finance team with the Company’s various external audits
- Supervising currently one AR- and one AP financial accountant

**Minimum Acceptable Qualifications**

**Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field of study

**Experience***:

- Not less than Three (3) years’ experience in accounting as well experienced in HGB
- Strong MS Office skills, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for analysis and presentation of data
- Strong knowledge of approved accounting practices including financial statement information and preparation of financial reports and statistics
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Experience with NetSuite preferred
- Must work effectively within team to meet objectives under time constraints
- Detail oriented and highly organized
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people in a professional manner, face to face, on the telephone and in writing

**Working Environment**
- Primarily office at the BEAU headquarter in Hamburg, partly homeoffice possible
- Routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets

**Position Type and Expected Hours of Work**
- This is a full-time position
- Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the “core” work hours
