Office Manager (m/f/d) Schrödinger is transforming the way therapeutics and materials are discovered. The platform combines the power of physics-based molecular simulation with machine learning and team-based collaborative informatics. It is used by biopharmaceutical and industrial companies, academic institutions, and government laboratories around the world. We’re seeking an Office Manager and Team Assistant (m/f/d) for our Mannheim office to join us in our mission to improve human health and quality of life through the development, distribution, and application of advanced computational methods. Who will love this job: A dynamic and motivated office manager who can handle a multitude of tasks and responsibilities An administrative expert with an interest in accounting and payroll An excellent communicator with initiative and a keen attention to detail A highly organized team player who can think one step ahead to ensure all office and team needs are met What you’ll do: Provide administrative support to the Schrödinger team in Europe Oversee the Mannheim office, with responsibilities including but not limited to greeting visitors, ordering office supplies, coordinating office maintenance work, and organizing office events and meetings Assist with travel management and coordination of business trips Help with the organization of customer events Coordinate the inventory of marketing materials and the shipment of materials to conferences and customers Manage contract and CRM database management Book travel and keep track of related expenses Review credit card receipts and prepare reports Prepare weekly payment runs Assist in data entry for monthly European payroll with external payroll providers Support the HR team operationally (onboarding and benefits) What you should have: Excellent command of English and fluency in German Vocational training in a related field (e.g. Kaufmann/-frau für Büromanagement) or a business degree At least two years experience in office management, team assistance, or a similar role Experience with accounting and payroll processes Proficiency in Microsoft Office Familiarity with CRM tools is a plus As a Schrödinger employee in our Mannheim office, you'll enjoy local transport reimbursement, a BahnCard50, bike leasing, our employee equity plan, the EGYM Wellpass (corporate fitness program), our employee volunteer program, our donation match program, access to the Corporate Benefits platform, a dedicated counseling service, and our company travel insurance.
