Its main purpose is to bundle access to trading markets for E.ON's regional units, the associated risks and to perform services and additional value-creating activities. This includes the provision of portfolio strategies, risk management concepts and business activities in the field of data and information processing. You support the team in the development of Algo Trading models based on technical or statistics analysis, fundamental data, or machine learning
You research and analyze new trading strategies and backtest them
You follow a DevOps approach in close cooperation with our DevOps and front office teams
You support in documenting models/applications in Confluence
You communicate, network and build communities around Algo Trading within our Energy Markets function
You are currently enrolled at university, preferably in computer science, engineering, physics or other technical courses of study
Python, Git) and experiences in Algo Trading
Good understanding of European energy markets/management or trading strategies are a plus
You are versatile in an international environment and are aware of intercultural differences
You are business fluent in English, German is advantageous
