As a future Sales and Investor Relations Manager, you will report to the Senior Sales and Business Developer Northern Europe AXA IM Prime (London) , and you will be part of the AXA IM PRIME Business Unit.


AXA IM Prime is the private assets one-stop platform of AXA IM, offering investments across private equity, infrastructure equity, private debt, and hedge funds. We offer diversified sources of private market returns through primaries, secondaries, co-investments, as well as NAV financing and GP minority stakes solutions. AXA IM Prime's team of seasoned investment professionals has a long history of meeting AXA Group's ambitious investment targets whilst incorporating proactive ESG commitments and strict risk management criteria.


The Sales and Investor Relations Manager will, together with AXA IM Prime Head of Sales for the region define asset raising targets for all AXA IM Prime business lines (Infrastructure Equity, Private Equity, Private Debt and Hedge Funds), implement sales strategy for AXA IM Prime in Germany & Austria ensuring that asset raising targets are met each year.


Sales and Business Development:
Develop and expand third party AuM in Germany and access to new accounts (pension funds, insurer, banks, endowments, family offices) distributors (banks and insurance networks, savings platforms ...), private wealth managers as well as consultants.
Monitor market developments and knowledge of competitor offerings to pro-actively support the improvement of AXA IM Primes unique selling points and sales pitch and Customized solutions offering & new product development.
Product pipeline prioritization to meet client needs and AXA IM Prime fund launch pipeline and ultimately ensure sales success in the region.
Work collegially with other sales teams of AXA IM (AXA IM Core, AXA IM Alts) to maximize cross-selling opportunities.
Ensure high standards of after-sales support and servicing is delivered to investors (e.g. reporting, monitoring, ad-hoc requests)
Deliver constant feed-back to management and product team to allow AXA IM Prime to ensure that its products evolve to meet changing investors demands.
Work with portfolio management, structuring, product development, tax and legal to ensure marketing of AXA IM Prime products in accordance with local regulations.
Follow AXA IM processes from a regulatory and compliance perspective.
Master's degree in Finance / Economics or similar qualification
First e xperience in the financial sector / asset management industry at similar institutions
track record of raising assets for an Alternative Investment firm in Private assets (experience in dedicated mandates and solutions a plus)
Good understanding of financial markets (public & private) and compliance matters
Experience with use of CRM software supporting a structured and efficient sales process (salesforce)
Engagement in asset management working groups / investor association would be a plus
Network with institutional investors in Germany in the private assets space
Ability to structure sales processes, identify business opportunities, initiate contact with new investors and maintain ongoing high level of client service to grow AXA IM Prime business in Germany and Austria
Ability to balance important long-term goals with the requirement to meet annual sales targets
Strong understanding of private assets with special knowledge on client needs and benefits of Private Market investing
Insights and interest to anticipate future developments in the alternative's investment management industry
Open mind-set towards innovation and use of tools supporting sales and client servicing
Good interpersonal / communication skills and potential to manage a small team as the platform develops
Ability to thrive in a start-up business within a larger organisation
Excellent verbal and written German and English language skills
Willing to work as part of team and share success as a team effort
