Aufgaben

Ensure the technical follow up of the systems in charge to know and be known by engineering departments counterparts Write mechanical repair manuals or methods, for new vehicle projects and serial life evolutions Ensures the respect for procedures and objectives defined by Expleo Contributes to the service continuous improvement, by meeting requirements defined in the Expleo In connection with the design department, you collect, analyze and check the technical information and the specific tools to be used and you develop the mechanical removal/refitting procedures on a complete vehicle perimeter (engine, gearbox, running gear, etc). Use a 3D visualization tool (3DVia/Catia) to carry out some of the mechanical repair methods Carry out some of the operations on the vehicle (removal/refitting) By respecting the safety of the interventions, the standards in force and the customer specifications, you are in charge of drafting the repair procedures defined in the previous step Quality proofreading Request the creation of new illustrations when needed Ensure schedule follow up and inform the management of all issues which could impact the delivery schedule Analyze “User Feedbacks” concerning system in his perimeter and correct the methods when required

Qualifikationen

Graduation from the university in the automobile field (equivalent to the French BTS MAVA, BTS MCI) or professional qualification in bodywork and paint Proven Knowledge of bodywork and paint Good knowledge of automobile and its repair Experience working as technical writer in Automotive domain Experience working in Arbortext, Oxygen, … Editor is a plus.

Strong attention to detail Good synthesis skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Able to write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences Knowledge of the labor times applied in the garage Knowledge of 3D visualization tools like 3DVia or Catia Good oral and written expression skills Fluency in technical English
