Manager Business Systems

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
This role is responsible for maximising the sales, profitability, and brand equity of the European Concept & Franchise Stores by providing the teams with the right business systems, process, and pricing support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage strategic projects, systems, processes, and seasonal pricing changes in line with the Europe strategy.
- Support the implementation of the business systems into the merchandising teams seamlessly and train all merchandisers on the new tools.
- Manage the pricing of articles and key promotional events such as MSS and EOSS.
- Manage the partner group setup for store promotional activations.
- Co-ordinate and drive operations between SCM and buying teams.
- Support in building the system process map for Europe merchandising and re-define the processes to drive work efficiency.
- Be the key interface to manage all IT enhancements and liaise with the Business Solutions team in Global to drive the implementation.
- Drive implementation of key strategic projects that impact planning, ranging, forecasting and pricing across DTC (e.g. TRADE, Oracle Project, Power BI)
- Improve the Financial Plan (MFP) processes for upcoming seasons, including delivering a financial plan at store level and at category/class level, and handling all exceptions in the process.
- Supporting the definition of new reporting processes with other category directors to drive new thinking.
- Actively participate in all new system testing roll outs on behalf of the buyers.
- Ensure all cross-category coordination of store related action plans and monitor development.
- Drive master data accuracy and maintenance across all systems

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Detailed knowledge and relevant experience in Merchandising, ranging & forecasting as well as understanding of Planning and Allocation systems.
- Knowledge of SAP Retail/AFS, IT Strategy & Project Management.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment and under pressure.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Influencing skills.
- Good knowledge of Retail channels/online marketing
- Experienced in working with internal stakeholders and external agencies to establish efficient and scalable processes.
- System knowledge in Tools like MS Access, Power BI, SQL would be a plus.
- Fluent in English and other language(s) is an advantage.
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- University degree, ideally in business with marketing and sales focus, or equivalent professional experience / MBA a plus
- 5+ years working experience in Merchandising & Supply Chain in Retail Industry vertical preferable in sporting goods.
- Retail knowledge/retail background/understanding of retail operations required.
- Experienced in working cross functional within international organization.
