As a Growth Director, you will be at the forefront of generating new business opportunities and driving growth across European and APAC markets – the focus being on Austria, Denmark, Germany, India, and Switzerland. You will be responsible for identifying, developing, and converting new business prospects into lasting partnerships, focusing on our technology services and product offerings.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITES:

Strategic Business Development: lead our business development strategy across the DACH region, focusing on digital transformation and technology-driven solutions. Sales and Pipeline Management: achieve an annual new business revenue target, manage the sales process from lead generation to conversion, and maintain a healthy sales pipeline. Spearhead AKQA's initiatives to implement Adobe platform solutions across the DACH region, focusing on leveraging Adobe's capabilities to drive sales, support client success, and achieve AKQA's specific targets related to Adobe solution sales and deployments. Partnership and Relationship Building: foster strategic relationships with Adobe and other technology partners, eg. CommerceTools, Contentful, Sitecore, Shopify to enhance AKQA’s market position and service offerings. Leadership and Collaboration: work closely with the leadership teams in Denmark, Germany, and India, as well as across the AKQA network, to ensure alignment and support for business growth initiatives. Marketing and Influence: support marketing strategies and participate in thought leadership activities to raise AKQA's profile and demonstrate our value proposition.

QUALITIES & CHARACTERISTICS

Fluency in German is required, plus business-level English language proficiency Based in Germany (or the willingness to relocate) and ability to travel across the DACH region. Previous enterprise-level business development and sales experience at consultancies or agencies – preferably within web technology and/or digital marketing solutions An actionable network in Automotive, Luxury, and FMCG in DACH markets with the ability to regularly visit customers’ and prospects’ offices in this area Proven expertise in delivering Adobe platform solutions, with substantial experience in implementing Adobe Experience Cloud products within a client-focused environment Experience with platform solutions, such as CommerceTools, Contentful, Sitecore, Shopify welcome Ability to consult with CXO level stakeholders on platform technologies – particularly Adobe Experience Cloud Hunger to consultatively sell new services, with a demonstrated track record of over-delivery against targets Excellent negotiation and presentation skills Strong strategic thinking and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and mobilize teams. Experience managing and working with nearshore and offshore application development team
