Your tasks

You will proactively support the teams of the General Counsel and Senior Vice President Content in the implementation of strategic and operational tasks by taking over administrative and organizational activities. You plan and organize the recurrent and ad-hoc team specific meetings and external calls/meetings. You follow up on emails and act upon them where possible. You take over the daily management of work schedules, organise and prioritize meetings. You support in the preparation of documents and presentations. You are responsible for the travel management by managing travel bookings and handling the invoices and expense reports. You ensure the Corporate Centre office’s supplies, monitor the department’s budget and ensure the travel approval process in the dedicated systems. You are confident in handling correspondence (in English and German) and in dealing with our international partners. As part of our Corporate Center team, if required, you take over other’s teams administrative activities and act as back-up for other Corporate Centre Team assistants, in case of holidays or ad-hoc needs. Your work base will be RTL Group Corporate Centre in Cologne with the flexibility of mobile office according to RTL Group’s mobile office policy


Your profile

You have already worked in a similar assistant position, at least 3 to 5 years.  You have successfully completed a Bachelor’s degree or a similarly qualified commercial apprenticeship. You have a talent for organization and flexibility to address changing priorities during your daily business. You are level-headed and you effectively handle multiple and changing priorities simultaneously without losing sight of details. You are comfortable working independently, following self-driven lines of enquiry with a strong focus on results. You are a talented communicator, curious to learn, used to dealing with a wide variety of people and at ease working in a multicultural environment. You understand the importance of maintaining discretion and confidentiality regarding the topics and information managed by your role. Office 365 (especially Outlook) is easy for you to handle. You are fluent in English (CEFR level C2) and German.  You are service and solution-oriented with a positive and warm personality, characterized by your courteous and helpful nature.

Your Team

Around 150 colleagues from 15 nations make up RTL Group's Corporate Centers in Cologne and Luxembourg. As part of this multi-cultural team, you work in an interdisciplinary environment where expertise meets passion.
