We are responsible for the worldwide supply of spare parts for our classic and vintage cars, including product management, pricing and the supply chain. With our extensive spare parts supply, we ensure the preservation and safe operation of our classic and future classic cars.

Become part of the Mercedes-Benz Classic Spare Parts team as a Procurement Planner (f/m/d).

What you can expect
- Evaluation (together with our purchasing department) of discontinuations and price demands from external suppliers and development of macroeconomic solutions for such business transactions
- Preparation of medium and long-term forecasts as well as range analyses in relation to the range of parts to be supported
- Ensuring the timely availability of parts and the service level worldwide in Mercedes-Benz Heritage LifeCycle processes
- Reporting and monitoring of supplier target achievement and coordination with the responsible product manager
- Support and cooperation with various interfaces (product management, technology, development, purchasing, Mercedes-Benz plants, controlling, etc.) in the search for solutions for the logistical and economic handling of LifeCycle processes (e.g. procurement requests, handling of relocations and insolvencies worldwide)
- Efficient and careful handling of customer and supplier backlogs

Qualifikationen

What we expect
- Completed studies in logistics or business administration, alternatively a state-certified technician or comparable training
- Negotiation skills in the first phase with the supplier
- Very good knowledge of the supply chain; ideally at least 2 years of experience in the supply chain
- MS-Office, SAP, Autoline, Primus, OTAS, DocMaster (for DBL, DIN standards) ZGDOK, Engineering Client Smaragd, DIALOG, XENTRY incl. Logbus
- Understanding of technical processes and production methods, reading technical drawings
- Project management experience, especially in complex problem-solving processes
- Ability to work independently with high-quality results
- Business fluent in German and English (at B2/C1 level)
