Senior Director, Procurement and Subcontracting

Job Summary
Exyte is seeking a highly experienced Senior Director, Procurement and Subcontracting to lead our procurement and subcontracting efforts in Continental Europe and Northern Europe and Israel. As a key member of our regional leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and deploying a regional procurement and subcontracting strategy to support the achievement of business goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop the regional procurement and subcontracting strategy to support the achievement of regional business goals and objectives.
- As part of the Corporate Procurement Leadership Team, develop capabilities (people, technology, policy, processes, plans) including the provision of regional and continuous improvement input to provide Exyte with a best-in-class procurement and subcontracting organization.
- Provide procurement and subcontracting functional support and input at an early stage to future and new business activities. Create synergies and integrate new opportunities into existing procurement and subcontracting processes and structure.
- Ensure the effective establishment of new business including staffing, project plans, deployment of systems, and long-lead item / early-works delivery.
- Position yourself as a respected service provider and trusted business partner to the regional management, the business, and the regional project teams.
- Effectively manage the regional procurement and subcontracting team. That includes building a positive fast-paced spirit and culture, developing a world-class team, and delivering a high-level of sustainable results.
- Implement comprehensive supply chain strategies that align with corporate procurement direction, company goals and objectives.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery of quality materials.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure advantageous terms and conditions.
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent in relevant technical subject.
- Professional experience in senior management positions in the civil engineering sector or similar.
- Several years of procurement/sourcing experience with increasing international responsibility and experience in a matrixed company environment.
- Extensive knowledge of commercial purchasing, construction and professional services subcontracting, and contract law.
- Understands the project delivery processes (i.e., program management, detailed engineering deliverable documents, construction management needs, construction).
- Must be able to effectively communicate with clients and interact with operations, project, and construction management.
- Ability and willingness to manage Change processes.
- Strong project management skills.
