Your main tasks:
Leadership of Cluster Medical Affairs TeamMedical/scientific leader and face of Ferring with authorities, patient organisations and external opinion leadersInteraction with external scientific and clinical experts in relation to cluster, regional and global activitiesLead Medical operations in the ClusterOversee execution by local medical team and where appropriate provide hands onIn collaboration with cluster cross-functional teams create and implement strategic and operational plans in the cluster/country, in line with Ferring´s strategyEnable cluster/country achievement of Global Medical Affairs, regional and cluster targetsOverall responsible for resource allocation and budget control for the Medical Affairs DepartmentCompliance with GCP, SOP´s, guidelines and regulatory requirements within the countries/clusterMedical/scientific Input, oversight and execution of data generation activitiesRepresent the cluster internally and provide Cluster/country input to Regional Medical Affairs Western Europe &CanadaYour qualification:
University Medical or Scientific degreeHigher life science qualification (PhD, PharmD) optionalIdeally Business degree (MBA)Minimum 10 years experience in Pharmaceutical Industry or Biotechnology CompaniesSignificant experience in Medical Affairs, including design and oversight of clinical studiesAt least 5 years of management or leadership experienceCurrent working knowledge of legal, regulatory and compliance regulations and guidelinesComprehensive understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and clinical operationsPreferably experience of Fertility therapy area, Gastroenterology and/or UrologyFluent in written and spoken German and Englishgoal- and result-oriented thinking and actingStrong analytical/ conceptual thinking skillsFamiliar with industry standard toolsLocation:
