Position: Cluster Medical Affairs Director

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Cluster Medical Affairs Team to drive strategic growth and innovation
  • Act as the medical/scientific representative for Ferring with key stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and partnerships
  • Collaborate with external experts for global activities, ensuring alignment with company objectives
  • Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with company's objectives, driving business results and growth
  • Manage resources and budget for the Medical Affairs Department, ensuring efficient use of resources
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines, maintaining a high level of integrity and ethics
  • Contribute to data generation activities, providing valuable insights and recommendations
  • Provide input to Regional Medical Affairs Western Europe & Canada, driving regional growth and success

Requirements:

  • Medical or Scientific degree from a university, with a strong foundation in pharmaceuticals and medical affairs
  • Minimum 10 years experience in Pharmaceutical Industry, with a proven track record of leadership and management
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
  • Knowledge of legal, regulatory, and compliance standards, with a focus on maintaining a high level of integrity and ethics
  • Expertise in clinical operations, with a strong understanding of medical affairs and pharmaceuticals
  • Previous experience in Fertility therapy area, Gastroenterology or Urology is a plus, with a strong understanding of the relevant therapeutic areas
  • Fluency in German and English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Results-driven mindset with analytical thinking, with a focus on driving business results and growth
  • Familiarity with industry tools, with a strong understanding of medical affairs and pharmaceuticals
