Summary

For the department "HENSOLDT Quality Optronics and Land Solutions" we are looking for a "Head of Quality Optronics and Land Solutions (f/m/d)" at the Oberkochen site at the earliest possible date.

The department "HENSOLDT Quality Optronics and Land Solutions" is responsible for the execution of QM during the entire program / project / product life cycle of the Optronics and Land Solutions division and for achieving a high level of customer satisfaction by supporting complete and unrestricted order fulfillment.

Your Tasks

Ensuring the effective, efficient, pragmatic and compliant implementation of the management system throughout the program / project / product life cycle for the Optronics and Land Solutions division

The adequate provision of qualified QM resources to support business requirements - Ensuring "added value" through QM

Control and monitor compliance with internal and external requirements

Planning, monitoring and reporting of QM measures and KPIs

Drive systematic identification and reduction of non-quality (CNQ) costs

Ensure and facilitate phase reviews, project reviews and technical reviews

Escalate quality issues and process deviations to the HENSOLDT Quality Manager and the Head of Optronics and Land Solutions Department

Creating an environment that increases employee satisfaction, engagement and ownership

Direct responsibility for program / project / product, development and production quality

Close cooperation and coordination with other quality departments such as Supplier Quality, QMS and Regulatory Affairs and Aviation Excellence

Safe use of APQP and further increase quality awareness and drive improvement projects within the Optronics and Land Solutions division

Your Profile

Completed studies in business administration, economics, aerospace or similar

Several years of experience in quality management

Experience in program and project management, engineering or production advantageous

Strong leadership skills and experience as well as the ability to motivate and lead a team

Very good knowledge of the EN9100 series

Knowledge of quality methods related to root cause identification and problem solving

Hands-on behavior and a mentality to get things done

Strong communication skills, ability to work in a team and a high degree of initiative and assertiveness

Independent, goal-oriented, systematic and efficient way of working

Good German and English skills
