BA/MA Sensorbasierte Regelung des Laser Powder Bed Fusion Prozesses

In Kooperation mit dem Lehrstuhl für Lasertechnik der RWTH LLT bietet das Fraunhofer-Institut für Lasertechnik ILT, Europas führendes Zentrum für Auftragsforschung und -entwicklung im Bereich Lasertechnik, die Möglichkeit einer Abschlussarbeit an. In enger Kooperation mit Partnern aus Industrie und Forschung beschäftigt sich das ILT u.a. mit der Weiterentwicklung des additiven Fertigungsverfahrens Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF). Mit LPBF können durch einen schichtweisen Aufbau metallische Bauteile mit nahezu beliebig komplexer Geometrie additiv hergestellt werden. Das vielseitige Anwendungsspektrum umfasst dabei Bauteile in der Automobilindustrie, der Luft- und Raumfahrt oder der Medizintechnik.Qualitätsmanagement Systeme sind von großer Wichtigkeit für die industrielle Anwendung des LPBF-Prozesses. Dabei soll zum einen eine große Geometrietreue, zum anderen aber auch die Reduktion von Defekten und eine konstante Mikrostruktur ermöglicht werden.
Was Du bei uns tust
- Implementierung einer sensorbasierten Prozessregelung an einer LPBF- Anlage
- Eigenständige Planung und Durchführung von wissenschaftlichen Experimenten
- Auswertung der Experimente in Form von Analysen der Sensordaten sowie metallografischer Untersuchung von Probenkörpern
- Dokumentation und Präsentation der Forschungsergebnisse
Was Du mitbringst
- Du studierst Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen, Maschinenbau oder einen vergleichbaren ingenieurwissenschaftlichen Studiengang
- Fähigkeit und Spaß an selbstständiger und eigenverantwortlicher Arbeit
- Du entwickelst gerne eigene Ideen und setzt diese eigenständig um
- Erste Kenntnisse in Regelungstechnik sowie Signalverarbeitung sind für diese Arbeit von Vorteil
- Gute Deutsch- und/oder Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
