Pre-Production Specialist

Catalent Pharma Solutions are seeking to recruit a Pre-Production Specialist to build and create a new department within the Production department.

The role of Pre-Production Specialist is to support the Pre-Production aspects of SupplyFlex as well as DLS (Demand Led Services). The specialist will receive and analyze client demand and create site packaging and/or shipment orders using Supplyflex Aggregator as well as create batch records and all forms/processes associated with preparing a client order for the production floor. 

The Pre-Production Specialist will work with Strategic Supply Solution, Project Management, Operations and Quality to receive client demand in various formats, and convert into a standardized format, adding required supplemental data and aggregating them into executable orders and records for the sites.

As a key member of the Global Operations Team and the primary user of the SupplyFlex system, the specialist will support the various global system owners and functional integration teams along with the continuous improvement activities centered around the demand led offerings.

The Role

·Manage client demand received via various data exchange methods (scheduler group mailbox, electronically received orders (fusion connect), client IRT etc) to ensure all orders are received and processed in a timely manner to prevent patient risk

·Review and audit assembly order & shipment orders packets for accuracy.

·Check availability and select bulk material to order within SupplyFlex Aggregator

·Generate assembly & shipment orders for the requested Clinical Trial Materials SupplyFlex Aggregator to meet client demand in line with protocol specific service levels and turnaround times

·Execute the manual business continuation process in the event of a SupplyFlex outage

·Using Excel & Clinicopia, assign kit numbers to orders and shipments if not client provided

·Work with PM/PGM/GBO during study set-up to come up with an aggregation schedule & provide routine feedback on new or revised PADIs

·Monitor aggregation execution and requesting patterns and flag required changes to the schedule

·Item Master identification and creator of request forms, JD Edwards Router, BOM, Purchase Order, and Work Order creation, GSA setup, Cliniciopia setup

The Candidate

·Pharmaceutical Packaging experience would be beneficial

·Fluent in English, both written and spoken

·Critical thinker, problem solver, able to work in a fast paced environment

·High level attention to detail while managing multiple projects and/or priorities under tight deadlines is a must

·Strong computer skills are required – (including, but not limited to, SupplyFlex, Supplyflex Aggregator, Clinicopia, Microsoft Excel, JDE, GSA, SharePoint and ability to quickly learn new systems/programs)

·Strong organizational skills are required

·Proven written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are required.

·Ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure to meet competing workplace demands and appropriately prioritize is required

·Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form is required

·Able to self manage time, and diary due to working with colleagues in EU, USA and APAC
