Beats & Bytes (B3S) is UMG’s Central European Tech Hub, and Finance Data Products & Science team answers senior finance stakeholders’ questions related to digital income fast and with confidence. Here’s your chance to join Effective immediately, we’re looking for an Analytics Engineer (all genders) to join us at our Headquarters in Berlin. It will be a permanent full-time position.
Your gig:
- Enhance the internal reporting structure including setup of new reports and visualizations
- Curate finance datasets and improve data quality
- Optimize data processing mainly based on Google Cloud Platform, Composer and BigQuery
- Help improve forecasting methods and underlying KPIs
- Contribute to developing insights to help drive business objectives
- Collaborate with stakeholders and partners to define valuable reporting capabilities
- You are an active contributor to our culture, to Beats & Bytes’ community, and to our ways of working by sharing your knowledge, e.g., in the form of training, presentations, or workshops, which you prepare yourself
We are keen to jam with you if you:
- Hold a degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a similar field, or were able to acquire the required knowledge through relevant work experience
- Worked 4-year as a Data Analyst or Data Engineer in Finance; experience in the Music Industry is a plus
- Master 1,000 lines of advanced SQL scripts, data pipeline orchestration and visualization tools - SQL and Tableau skills are a must have; Airflow, Python and Looker are a plus
- You’ve already worked successfully within a cross-functional team with stakeholders on board
- You feel confident and natural reading, writing, and speaking both English (at least C1) and German (at least B1 with the desire to improve); you can communicate efficiently in finance and tech-related contexts
