Each year, we as Oldendorff, carry about 320 million tons of bulk and unitized cargo around the world. We perform 14,000 port calls in 125 countries. On average, we operate 700 chartered and owned ships at any one time. To strengthen our local team in Singapore we are looking for a Data Analyst.
Essential Functions:
Utilize Advanced Tools: Work with a state-of-the-art Software Stack including Microsoft Data Lake, Databricks with Unity Catalog, and Power BI. Drive Innovation: Collaborate with international, cross-functional teams to enhance our data capabilities. Lead Projects: Manage your own projects, taking ownership from inception to implementation. Provide Insights: Engage closely with all levels of management, to support informed decision-making and promote a data-centric mindset.Skill Requirements:

A strong sense of ownership over projects. Enthusiasm for tackling new challenges and organizing effectively. Genuine interest in understanding the business context. Solution-driven and proactive mindset.Required / Preferred Education and Experience:
Background in Business, Economics, Analytics, Statistics, or a related field. Experience in shipping or macroeconomics is advantageous. Familiarity with tools such as Power BI, Databricks, and data modelling is beneficial but not required. English proficiency for daily communication in our diverse, global team.-
