About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our Data & Analytics team at Fielmann. As a Data Analyst, you will play a key role in empowering our organization to make informed decisions based on data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Sales team to understand their needs for data and analytics, and design solutions addressing those needs.
  • Design and implement KPIs and metrics to measure business performance of sales.
  • Build and maintain reports and dashboards ensuring transparency on business performance in the sales area.
  • Ensure data quality by setting up monitoring, performing regular data quality checks, and troubleshooting data discrepancies.
  • Analyze and interpret data to provide digestible and actionable insights to inform decisions in the sales team.
  • Collaborate with the Data Platform team to shape the central Data Platform according to the needs of sales analytics.
  • Provide training and support to the sales organization on data tools and techniques to enhance their data literacy.
Requirements
  • University Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Math, Engineering, Economics, or similar.
  • At least 3 years of experience with data analytics and at least 1 year of experience with data analytics in a retail company.
  • Understanding of the retail industry (brick & mortar as well as online/omnichannel).
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Experience with designing and implementing KPIs and metrics in a retail context.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL. Experience with Databricks or dbt is a plus.
  • Experience with building dashboards in Power BI or other BI & Visualization tools.
  • Experience with Python for data analysis is a plus.
  • Experience with web analytics is a plus.
  • Great communication skills, fluent English and German.
  • Highly structured way of thinking and attention to details.
  • Ability to articulate complex data and analytics content to a non-technical audience.
  • Inherent curiosity to understand the processes and the underlying reasons behind them, seeking to uncover insights and asking probing questions.
  • Ability to work autonomously, managing priorities and ensuring timely delivery on commitments.
