Your mission

Join our dynamic and growing team as an Accounting Specialist. We are committed to providing excellence in financial management and are looking for a detail-oriented professional to support our accounting operations both in Germany and our international offices. If you have a strong background in accounting, legal knowledge, and excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

General Cost Management:

  • Book permanent invoices accurately.
  • Review all general cost bookings to ensure precision.
  • Determine, book, and allocate shared costs to various departments and international offices.
Sales and Cost Management:
  • Verify trade-related incoming and outgoing invoices for our offices in Germany and international locations.
  • Assess and validate sales and cost accruals for both German and international offices.
  • Review and manage claim accruals effectively.
  • Examine and ensure the accuracy of sales and cost contracts.
Internal Control and Audit (ICFR):
  • Prepare and conduct comprehensive internal control audits.
Monthly Closing:
  • Manage monthly closing tasks, including foreign exchange (F/X) and royalty calculations.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Support the enhancement of accounting processes in Germany and international offices.
  • Assist and collaborate with the IT department on various projects.
  • Provide requested documentation to HQ and support multiple departments as required.
  • Ensure correct booking and verification of general costs and sales.
  • Maintain the accuracy and precision of financial overviews.
  • Provide timely and valuable information to business management during monthly closings.
  • Deliver accurate information to support informed business decisions.

Your profile

  • Completed apprenticeship or studies in accounting.
  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience in accounting.
  • Legal knowledge relevant to accounting practices.
  • Strong analytical skills and market understanding.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Fluent in German and English.
  • Knowledge of SAP and other accounting software.
