Your mission

Join our team as a Junior Accounting Specialist
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to support our accounting operations. If you're eager to grow in the field of accounting and develop your skills in a dynamic, international environment, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

General Cost Management:

  • Assist in booking permanent invoices accurately.
  • Help review general cost bookings to ensure precision.
  • Support in determining, booking, and allocating shared costs across departments and international offices.
Sales and Cost Management:
  • Assist in verifying trade-related incoming and outgoing invoices for both German and our European offices.
  • Help assess and validate sales and cost accruals.
  • Support the review and management of claim accruals.
  • Assist in examining sales and cost contracts for accuracy.
Internal Control and Audit (ICFR):
  • Help prepare and conduct internal control audits.
Monthly Closing:
  • Assist in monthly closing tasks, including foreign exchange (F/X) and royalty calculations.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Provide support for the improvement of accounting processes in Germany and internationally.
  • Collaborate with the IT department on projects as needed.
  • Help provide documentation for HQ and support various departments as required.
  • Ensure accuracy in the booking and verification of general costs and sales.
  • Contribute to maintaining precise financial overviews.
  • Assist in providing valuable information during monthly closings to support business management.
Your profile

  • Completed apprenticeship or studies in accounting.
  • Minimum 1 year of work experience in accounting.
  • Legal knowledge relevant to accounting practices.
  • Strong analytical skills and market understanding.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Fluent in German and English.
  • Knowledge of SAP and other accounting software.
