Summary

We are looking for a "Head of SDAS Strategy & Portfolio Management (f/m/d)" for the "Spectrum Dominance and Airborne Solutions (SDAS)" division at the Ulm location as soon as possible.

The "Spectrum Dominance and Airborne Solutions (SDAS)" division is responsible for our Spectrum Dominance portfolio (Electromagnetic Warfare, Signal Intelligence and Cyber Operations) and Airborne Solutions. Spectrum Dominance ensures the dominance of the electromagnetic spectrum through its offensive and defensive use as well as support measures and applications of signal intelligence with regard to evolving and hybrid threats.

Airborne Solutions includes avionics for manned and unmanned, military and civil platforms, as well as standard integrated airborne mission systems.

Your Tasks

Technical and disciplinary management of the Strategy & Portfolio Management department and further development of employees in line with strategic objectives

Definition, coordination and implementation of the SDAS strategy (sales, portfolio, R & D, cooperations, M & A, international industrialization) in line with the corporate strategy and business development

Responsibility for SDAS Divisional Portfolio Management to implement the divisional strategy in coordination with the SDAS Business Units

Definition and implementation of SDAS divisional governance (reporting, review and communication structure and content) as well as ensuring consistent communication between internal (business units, sales, engineering) and external (corporate, business development and COO functions) stakeholders

Coordinating the creation of the SDAS business plan and reporting to HENSOLDT management and the Executive Board

Management and coordination of SDAS HENSOLDT GO projects

Definition, coordination and determination of the further development of the "Manage Product and Projects" process including process description, guidelines, tools / methods / KPIs, competence profiles and training for HENSOLDT as a whole in coordination with all HENSOLDT divisions (divisions remain responsible for implementation) and within SDAS

Your Profile

Degree in engineering (computer science / electrical engineering), economics or similar

Several years of proven professional experience in the areas of program / project management, strategy and portfolio management

Several years of experience in managing and motivating employees

Experience in the use of agile methods and working methods

Very good knowledge of business processes

Strong entrepreneurial thinking and assertiveness

Strong communication and teamwork skills, persuasiveness and conflict resolution skills

Business fluent German and English skills
