Summary
For the Procurement department, we are looking for a "Head of Business Procurement Radar and Naval Solutions (f/m/d)" at the Ulm location as soon as possible.
The Business Procurement Radar and Naval Solutions department is responsible for the division's procurement activities and their strategic planning.
The Project Sourcing Managers assigned to the department are the central contacts for projects and production at the German locations for their planning and procurement processes. In addition to close cooperation with the program areas and Strategic Procurement, Sales, Development and Finance must also be involved in particular.
Your Tasks- Management of the department with disciplinary and technical responsibility for the employees in Ulm- Direct reporting line to the CPO- Implementation of business planning in cooperation with Strategic Purchasing- Tracking the results of Sales & Operations planning at division level- Responsible cooperation in the preparation of offers- Ensuring the early involvement of Purchasing in new product developments and supporting the entire development process- Responsibility for selection, negotiation and management of program-related supplier contracts- Setting and tracking targets to improve costs, quality, delivery reliability and innovation- Ensuring compliance with purchasing guidelines and processes
Willingness to travel is required.
Your Profile- Completed studies in the field of business administration or engineering- Several years of management experience- Experience in complex project structures and implementation of matrix organizations- Very good conceptual and strategic skills- High degree of initiative as well as negotiation and assertiveness skills- Excellent communication and teamwork skills- Business fluent in German and English
