The "Battery Production" center of the "Powertrain Production" division continues the Group's realignment towards electrified drives and thus the implementation of the agreed global production scopes for electromobility. The high-tech competence center for electromobility is located at the Untertürkheim plant, where you will have the opportunity to demonstrate and expand your skills.
Against the backdrop of the growing eMobility sector, comprehensive digitalization, new technologies and market participants, new challenges are arising for Powertrain Production, which must be solved in a team with innovative approaches. We in the PT/EPR (Battery Production ROW) department are actively shaping this change and are now initiating a turning point in the company's history with the realization of battery production in a brand new factory hall at the Untertürkheim plant.
In the "Battery Production ROW" department, you will be actively integrated into an agile production team that is responsible for the successful series production of the entire production line for the new Mercedes-Benz traction batteries. As a producer, you will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks in this major project. We work closely with various stakeholders such as planning, quality, logistics, start-up factory, IT, suppliers, etc. and our colleagues from the battery plant network, giving you a unique interdisciplinary insight into all relevant areas of factory operations.
As the operator of battery production, we take care of the series production phase of the battery manufacturing and assembly systems. Gain valuable technical know-how in the field of battery technology and production as a key competence for electromobility.

In the series production phase, you will support the managers and production engineers with the following tasks:
Incorporating production requirements into series production in interdisciplinary cooperation with the above-mentioned stakeholders Preparing, evaluating and analyzing process parameters and key figures and deriving fields of action Carrying out weak point analyses and developing measures to eliminate weak points Contributing to the further development of a safety-compliant work organization and corresponding training concepts Solving technically complex issues in close cooperation with managers, plant engineers and production staff Collaboration in day-to-day operations, such as chairing meetings and independently developing cycle time and fault analyses Actively support the operation of battery system assembly together with the production teamWe offer...
