Cyber Security Network Engineer

About the role
:As a network expert, you will manage all aspects of a modern network and telecommunications infrastructure in an environment characterised by high complexity and dynamic change. You will ensure the reliable and resilient operation of a wide range of network, router, switch, remote access, proxy, NAC, SOC, SIEM, CSIRT, firewall and telecommunications systems which are realized in accordance with IT/ IT Security strategy. You would also be responsible for managing projects and coordinating with specialists from other departments.
Your Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for the support, administation, planning and further development of the Cisco network infrastructure (LAN/WLAN) as well as the European WAN, the firewall, VPN and security systems. Analysis, design, implementation and support of complex network and system solutions with a focus on Information Security and in cloud environments. Proposal of cybersecurity concepts. Ensure proper network monitoring of Information security related events, collection of logs and other relevant records and advanced processing, analysis and evaluation. Recording, reporting, documenting and mitigating operational faults within the scope of the assigned area of responsibility (2nd & 3rd level support) and coordination and service reviews with internal/external service providers. Taking over responsibility for information security sub-areas of the IT infrastructure.Your Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience. You have sound knowledge in the administration and configuration of LAN and WLAN networks in complex Cisco Enterprise environments as well as in the data center environment. Sound experience with cloud products and the configuration of networks, proxies and firewalls. Good knowledge in Cybersecurity and on Security Frameworks Project Management experience Good knowledge of English and GermanWhat could you expect?
