Your tasks
The role of Manager Air Freight Strategy and Development is a member of the Global Air Freight Strategy & Development team. Core responsibility is to facilitate and manage strategic projects and further develop the Global Air Freight real time visibility product. This role takes a lead in project management, driving analysis, as well as develop Global Air Freight Strategy in alignment with applicable corporate frameworks.
Key responsibilities
Maintain and develop the real time visibility product framework and roadmap for DB Schen-ker Global Air Freight in alignment with overall DB Schenker strategy Understand internal and external stakeholder requirements and communicate progress up-dates to counterparts, customers, and BoM Represent the Air Freight strategy perspective and contribute towards identifying and un-derstanding relevant requirements needed for Global Air Freight with the IoT team Support strategic relationship management and development internal and external stake-holders for the real-time visibility product Lead projects of strategic importance for DB Schenker Global Air Freight as responsible project manager Support organization with project management, facilitation, and analysis skills ( prepare and facilitate workshops) Drive and facilitate best practice sharing within Global Air Freight organization
Requirements
To be successful in the above role, the incumbent should possess/display the following key skills/attributes
Master's degree or equivalent qualification in business management, logistics, avia-tion management or a related discipline several years relevant professional experience Sound understanding of air freight and IT/IoT Proven high level of proficiency in analytics, facilitation, project management and problem solving Team player with exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills Proven ability to work effectively in virtual and international teams incl. willingness to travel internationally Sound understanding of Air Freight industry, business and processes Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks at a time Flexible thinker able to operate in a changing environment Proven high level of proficiency in working with relevant IT tools such as PowerPoint and Excel
