At the Mercedes-Benz Technology Center (MTC), we are shaping the automobile generations of the future. This is where the brand's technical expertise is concentrated at the Sindelfingen (overall vehicle development) and Untertürkheim (engine and powertrain development) sites. Our work is characterized by the visions and requirements of a mobile future. By this we mean innovative products of the highest quality and efficient development processes. We are already working today on vehicles that will secure Mercedes-Benz's technological leadership in the future.
At the Stuttgart site, the team develops peripherals for the latest generation of engines. These primarily include exhaust gas-conducting components (high-pressure and low-pressure exhaust gas recirculation systems). The areas of application for the engines range from the compact class and hybrid applications to the luxury segment and even extend to the light to heavy commercial vehicle sector.
These are some of the challenges you will face:
Assisting in the planning, setup, execution and evaluation of complex engine, powertrain and component tests Participation in the preparation, execution and evaluation of measurements on the vehicle or engine test bench Collaboration in the coordination and initiation of component tests (internal/external), laboratory tests, component modifications (sample parts) Participation in the organization and preparation of team engine findings and evaluation of components after endurance testing, as well as competition engines Commissioning of component modifications and commissioning of the production of sample parts Qualifikationen Degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, vehicle construction or a comparable course of study Business fluent in written and spoken German and English Confident handling of MS Office Commitment and ability to work in a team Analytical mindset and strategic way of working Driving license class B is desirableAdditional information:
