The Mercedes-Benz plant in Hamburg is a high-tech location for drive components for electromobility. In addition, there are the traditional product areas of axles and axle components, steering columns and lightweight structural parts as well as exhaust technology components.
The Human Resources Management team is responsible for advising and supporting managers. In addition, we are responsible for ensuring that personnel and labor policy, legal, operational and collective bargaining conditions are in place and that existing process standards are implemented. We ensure adequate staffing through transfers, recruitment and personnel development measures, among other things.
You will have the following tasks, among others:
Assisting the HR Business Partners in the preparation, follow-up and implementation of personnel interviews and measures of all kinds (including company reintegration, absenteeism and disciplinary interviews) Preparation, planning and participation in job interviews Supervision of the "employee leasing" process Supervision of the "sign language interpreters" process Accompanying the HR Business Partner to appointments at the labor court Participation in current HR projects (including transformation) and cross-location topics Planning and implementing the onboarding of flexible staff at the location Preparing decision papers and presentations for managers and employees on current HR topics in coordination with the HR Business Partners Contributing to personnel development topics (e.g. management development) Planning and implementing measures and events relating to attendance management (improving sickness absence levels), including organizing campaigns Qualifikationen Degree in business administration, psychology, education or a comparable course of study Proficient in written and spoken German and English Confident handling of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Power Point, Excel) IT affinity desirable (in particular KNIME and Microsoft Power Automate) Commitment, pioneering spirit and ability to work in a team Analytical mindset and forward-looking way of working Communication skills and a confident demeanorAdditional information:
