Your Challenge

Installing, configuring, and maintaining MongoDB databases in various setups, including replica sets, sharding, and stand-alone Installing, configuring, and maintaining PostgreSQL databases in cluster and stand-alone configurations Ensuring high availability, performance, and security of database systems Implementing and managing backup strategies for MongoDB and PostgreSQL databases Performing regular backups, restoring databases as needed, and ensuring data integrity Monitoring and optimizing database performance, including query tuning and index management Performing capacity planning and scaling of databases to meet the growing needs of the business Developing and maintaining automation scripts using Ansible and Terraform for database provisioning, configuration, and deployment Automating routine database tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention Managing and troubleshooting database servers running on Linux-based systems Ensuring system security, patch management, and overall system health Understanding and implementing basic Kubernetes concepts for database deployment and management Collaborating with DevOps and development teams to integrate databases with containerized applications Maintaining comprehensive documentation of database configurations, processes, and procedures Providing regular reports on database performance, health, and capacity ,

Your Profile

A university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field Extensive knowledge of MongoDB, including installation, maintenance, replication, sharding, and backup/restore procedures Extensive knowledge of PostgreSQL, including installation, maintenance, clustering, and backup/restore procedures Proficiency in Linux system administration Basic understanding of Kubernetes and its role in database management Strong scripting and automation skills using Ansible and Terraform Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication and collaboration skills Fluent English (written and spoken) ,
